At SCOPE Miami, artist RABI offers a first look at WE BUY SOULS!, an evolving installation and conceptual project that examines how identity, belief, and personal agency are commodified in contemporary culture. Framed as a corporate entity that “acquires” souls, the work blends sculptural installation, public messaging, contracts, and a long-running hotline that has collected thousands of anonymous messages from around the world. These recordings form a raw archive of confession, humor, longing, and uncertainty, revealing how people interpret the value of the immaterial. The Miami presentation previews the next phase of WE BUY SOULS, ahead of a major exhibition opening at Good Mother Gallery in Los Angeles in January 2026.
