OFFICIAL CATERER | THE VOLKSHAUS BASEL

SCOPE's Official Caterer, The Volkshaus Basel is located in the heart of Basel at Claraplatz, a mere 3 minutes walk away from the Art and SCOPE fairs. With its Bar and Brasserie, both designed and furnished exclusively by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, it offers the perfect location for your lunch or dinner gathering.

The location has established itself as a hotspot during Art Basel since its re-opening in 2012 and offers a broad variety of venues, such as the Biergarten, a lovely tree-covered courtyard or the three event halls for up to 500 seated guests. Let yourself and your friends be spoiled after an intense day at the fairs by our fine selection of drinks and cocktails or the seasonal Brasserie dishes prepared by Executive Chef Benjamin Mohr and his team. Enjoy the bustling atmosphere amongst artists, collectors and visitors.

This year SCOPE is delighted to team up with artnet to present The Future of Corporate Collections, a panel discussion that looks inside the ethos of corporate collections and their importance to the art world at large.

Taking place on Wednesday, June 15 at 3 p.m. in SCOPE's VIP Lounge, this conversation will feature curators and directors from several notable collections. Moderated by artnet's Suzana Diamond, panelists will discuss the history of their collections and their uniquely global perspectives.

To get a taste of of how the fair is tackling the complex issue, watch the video interview featuring SCOPE vice president Daria Brit Greene on "The Future of Corporate Collections."
