SCOPE Miami's pavilion will be accompanied by The VH1 Outdoor Lounge: The premier destination to discover new talent in music, art and beyond. The VH1 Outdoor Lounge will be accessible to all SCOPE visitors for the duration of the fair; special events and programming to be announced. On Thursday, December 6th, The SCOPE Miami Official Party will be presented by VH1 and feature groundbreaking You Oughta Know musical talent from VH1's impressive roster, alongside SCOPE & VH1 co-curated visual work. Uniting top emerging artists with local venues to create functional pieces of art, Red Bull Curates gives artists their wings as it tours the United States. Nine artists will be chosen from Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, to win an all-expense paid trip to Miami to participate in a Red Bull Curates group exhibition at SCOPE Miami 2012. In a one-night showcase of artwork at 'The Space at Fifty North Third' on Thursday September, 13th 2012 at 9pm, fans and a luminary panel of judges including Ron English, Carlo McCormick, and Daria Brit Shapiro will vote for 3 winning artists to join the winners from Los Angeles and Chicago in the Red Bull Curates group show.
